A Spring Round Up! FREEBIES!

This week, I've decided to round up a few of my BEST and favorite spring blog posts!  There are probably a few you haven't seen, with themes like ladybugs, butterflies, frogs, bunnies, eggs, flowers, and let's not forget about MOTHER'S DAY!  It's already the end of April (WOW) and we've finally made it to the final stretch of the school year! Let's do this!! :D

Mother's Day Guided Drawing

This post tells how to make these cute little Mother's Day cards using guided drawing, and has free downloadable directions!  They turned out SO adorable that each year after that, I had my kids make them on those Make-it Plates!  I even had my first and second graders do them this year.  So cute!

We're Bugging Out All Over!

This post has SUPER CUTE bug activities! The ladybugs and bees on the bulletin board are FREE downloads. I also share one of my Sight Word Surprise worksheets with cute little bugs on them AND my Ladybug Nonsense Words Worksheet, ALSO FREE! Check those out!

Butterfly Blog!

This blog has some really NEAT ways to study butterflies, including my favorite, "Tie Dye Butterflies" the prints that you can make with the wet coffee filters!

March Madness!

Yes, that's a leprechaun, and yes, I know March is over, BUT in this blog post, I include the templates for those paper flowers, FREE!! I also have an Insect Addition freebie! Butterflies and ladybugs TOTALLY help make addition more fun, am I right???

Frog Blog!

This blog is all about, you guessed it, FROGS! I have a FREE tadpole and frog art project, some great books on frogs, froggy songs, a FREE froggy guided drawing, and a little frog writing assignment!

Bunny Blog

True, it's way past Easter, but bunnies are still funny, (Ha, that kind of rhymed!) and there is a GREAT idea in here for a "Where is it?" book that my kids absolutely LOVED!  Plus there's a free Sight Word Surprise that would probably still work just fine if you cover up the word Easter before copying.  AND there are free bunny rabbit guided drawing instructions, too.  I can really never get enough guided drawing!

Teaching Kids to Count on in Addition - Freebie!

This addition activity is GREAT post-Easter because your students will definitely have some empty plastic eggs lying around the house they could bring in! The template for these addition egg puzzles are FREE!

Shape Bunnies Spring Craft Freebie!

This is a recent post from right before Easter!! It was a HIT with my class!! These shape bunnies are fun and engaging! And the kids love to add their personal touch! I include the templates for you as a FREE download. :)  BTW, couldn't we do the same thing with FROGS?  How about some shape froggies????

Sight Word Eggs Match Up Freebie!

Chicks and eggs are great for the whole spring season!! This post has another TWO fun activities using those left over plastic eggs - one for sight words, and one for CVC words! They both include a recording worksheet, FREE!

The Wide Mouthed Frog Sing-Along Read-Along Book!

Alright, I'm pretty excited about this one. This post is all about one of our newest picture books, The Story of the Wide Mouthed Frog! The kids READ-along and SING-along to the book!! The books come with a CD that has full narration and music that go exactly with the book! This is great for reading time or Listening Centers!

Hidden Parts of Speech Worksheets! (Freebie!)

I just posted this one a few weeks ago. These new hidden worksheets are focused on parts of speech such as hidden nouns, verbs, prepositions, adverbs, pronouns, and even a few with interjections and conjunctions! Both my first and second graders have enjoyed working on this!! We have themed worksheets for all different seasons, including chicks and umbrellas for spring! Check them out! :)

Roll a Rabbit Place Value Dice Freebie!

This is another new one from this month. This Roll a Rabbit activity is a GREAT resource because I created it for two different levels!!! It was a great way for my first graders to practice counting up numbers in sets of tens and ones, and my second graders to practice counting numbers in sets of hundreds, tens, and ones! It's FREE! :)

WELL, I hope you find some fun, spring resources to use this season!! Look for some Mother's Day ideas coming up on my Facebook and Instagram this month!! (PSA: MOTHER'S DAY IS MAY 8TH! Snuck up real quick, I think! Ha!) Happy Spring!
